Bollywood star Suniel Shetty has been signed as official brand ambassador for hockey in India to boost the neglected game.

Suniel confirmed that he has received letter from hockey federation and is happy for it. He loves the sport and to be country’s brand ambassador is an honor of pride for him. Shetty has been given the responsibility to revive hockey as national game. He is chosen for his fitness, wellness and sports activities.

Suniel said that he will not be accepting any money but will do his best to bring up the game among youth.

Suniel is 46 year old but considers age no bar for sports.
