Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. and director Imtiaaz Ali were not able to decide the title for Shahid and Kareena starerr film. Shahid came with an idea to ask audience to vote for title. They choosed three titles and will hold a fun contest. Title which will get highest votes will be selected. The first title is Punjab Mail because couple meets on train to Punjab, second title is Ishq via BhatindaJab We Met which is according to youth eclectic mix. since both go there for some reasons and third title is Last year Vishal Bhardwaj run similar contest for selecting title of his film Omkara. |

James Gandolfini will be playing a real life corporate sports scout ‘Sonny Vaccaro’ in a HBO film. The film “ABCD Camp” is about Vaccaro who made Michael Jordan sign million dollar shoe deal and established a youth basketball camp. Gandolfini has appeared a number of times for HBO in “Alive Day Memories: Home from Iraq” and “The Sopranos”. |

Himesh Reshamiya is going to face camera once again for the sequel to AAP KAA SURROOR, titled AAP KAA SURROOR 2 - AY HIMESHBHAI. The film is produced by Vijay Taneja and directed by Prashant Chadha. The script of the film is completed but except Himesh is not yet decided. Hanshika Motwani will not be repeated in sequel and Prasahnt said that they are no hurry and will start after some time as they need to give ample time to pre production works. Himesh is also working on Karz remake and has shows and world tour to do. |

At the 10th Rajiv Gandhi Awards, Vivek Oberoi performed at last and left everyone in auditorium applauding. Salman Khan was given best actor award and he was happy for it. The best actress award went to Shilpa Shetty who said that this award will always be close to her heart. The event hosted by Anupam Kher and Parizad Kolah Marshall had many actors dancing to hit tunes. Aftab Shivdasani, Tanushree Dutta and Koena Mitra danced to Bollywood beats while Isha Sharvani gave an acrobatic act. Sunidhi Chauhan and Sukhvinder songs set audience in fun mood and comedy by Ali Hasan and Irfan Malik was praised a lot. The awards went to Kapil Dev (sports), Dr Swati Piramal (woman achiever), Kushagra Bajaj (young entrepreneur), Veerendra Heggade (philanthropist), Dr D Y Patil (educationist), Tulsi Tanti (industrialist), Sir Ghulam K Noon (global Indian) and Pooja Bhingire (child prodigy). A special achievement award went to Sunita Williams. The award presenters were Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, Priyaranjan Das Munshi, Sushilkumar Shinde and Gurudas Kamat, former Miss World Yuktaa Mookhey and Geeta Basra.

UTV and Ashutosh Gowariker have announced the date of release of much awaited film Jodhaa Akbar to be 12th October but rumors are that film will release in January 2008 same week when Rang De Basanti was released. A number of films as Bhool Bhulaiya, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Halla Bol and Hello are set to release on 12th October and are happy for Joddha Akbar delayed release. Ram Manchandani of UTV says that film will release on scheduled date and there is no postponement. |
